GETTING IT DONE with DAMIAN LOVE

On Thursday July 10, 2014, I completed my first series of "GETTING IT DONE" with Damian Love 'How to make IT Happen in Hollywood'.  Really had a great time talking with talent that really want to make it happen, don't have direction or representation, while holding onto their dreams and focus and just need some guidance.  I was able to share how I would be able to support them with their goals, offer opportunities to them that they currently didn't have or would not know how to get certain industry insights and secret.  As well, offer them hope that what they are doing can be fulfilled on with saying proactive.

Had a great seminar and looking forward to recreating for the next seminar with new talent, bringing more insight and creating new opportunities and possibilities for talent in the entertainment industry and transitioning talent to define and redefine what it's going to take for them to move forward with their goals and dreams to GETTING IT DONE.

Who is Calltime Casting’s CEO - Kerry Lee?

Kerry Lee began his career in the casting business 17 yrs ago, then briefly partnered with the world renowned artist/music producer/actor ‘Dr. Dre’. Casting over 300 music video’s for artist such as Kelly Clarkson, Fergie, Janet Jackson, Snoop Dogg, Madonna and even Sting. He then started working with such hit TV shows like ‘Martin’, and ‘Girlfriends’. Kerry’s film credits include the “Beverly Hood” and “Set It Off”. Commercial credits include Domino’s Pizza, Burger King,

Honey Nut Cheerios and numerous others. Over the years he has co-produced projects with Magic Johnson Enterprise and Tracey Edmonds(IMDb). "Meet...Mr. Damian Love"

 Originally from Sacramento, California, in 2004, Damian Love came off a very successful Track & Field professional career in Triple Jump, where he qualified for 2 Olympic trials in 2000 and 2004, made it in the top 10 indoor nationals in 2003, and received numerous accolades of National titles out of college,  along with a long list of accomplishments through the years, he shifted gears to embark upon new life chapters, he made his way to Hollywood, CA, and Damian Love pka "DL" started SNE NightLife (Sport and Entertainment Nightlife). He discovered that with his professional athletic career, 15 years expertise in personal development training, personal social media and profession developer for student/athletes and professionals, international and nationally, he could improve the quality of the industries future growth in business and professional entertainment.

Damian Love is coined the "Industry Cultivator". His mission in the Sport & Entertainment industries is to take what has already been planted and elevate it to new heights, strengthen the meaning of “industry cultivation” and create history in his time.

Since his arrival to Hollywood, Damian Love has definitely made a mark in the Sport & Entertainment industry. He is the creator and executive producer of "Funniest Comic In the City" (FCIC), at the world famous BB Kings Blues Club, Universal City. FCIC is a comedy competition that brought out some of the funniest up & coming comics in the country. Some contestants you may know were Tiffany Haddish, Ron G , and Willie Macc (from the hit BET show College Hill), who even got his first crack at comedy at “Funniest Comic in the City”. Special guest celebrity comics included: Faizon Love, Tommy Chunn, Rodney Perry, as well as, Season 1 Funniest Comic in the City champion and Comedian/Actor, Cocoa Brown, brought the house down every week.

Mr. Love is also the Executive producer of SNE Rhythm Nights, one of the hottest R&B shows in 2009 at the world famous BB Kings. Some of the hottest in R&B and Hollywood Celebs and Athletes from around the country attended and participated. Hot talent like Keith Robinson (IMDB) graced the stage,  NBA 2 time Defensive Player of the Year and 5 NBA Championships, Dennis Rodman would come through and hang out, and even one of the most iconic supermodels of the fashion industry, Janice Dickinson, would come and check talent out. Then you would have singing legends like Ali Woodson (R.I.P.), former lead singer of The Temptations,  whom would love to take over the stage and give us all a treat almost weekly.

Currently Damian Love has expand his reach in the industry to really take on his drive to assist young talent as the "Industry Cultivator" by partnering up with Hollywood Agency & Hollywood Auditions as a Talent & Media Representative. He has been supporting, consulting, marketing, training and representing beginners to entertainment professionals with taking their career to the next level. He currently and has directly worked with Dorian Gregory, Yennifer Behrens, Frankee Razor, Super Model Vince Allen, just to name a few, as well as fresh face talent nationally and internationally.

Along with working with Hollywood Agency, Mr. Love has taken on the Executive Director of a new music movement call “M3D Project” (Movement for Music and Media Development Project) that is a platform targeting the development of quality music and media online to help revitalize the music and media industry via online. M3D Project will create more opportunities for inspired new talent, while offering more quality talent for industry professionals through M3D’s platform.

Ok people, it's me, Damian Love aka Hollywood Rep DL and I can not hold back any more like so many of you have been doing with your "Silent Obsessions" for the hot new show "The Voice" on NBC. It's ok, I won't tell the stories of you being in the dark keeping an eye on every show, logging onto twitter and get the latest updates. Every artist you fall in love with and your anticipations for the next show...haha. You secret is good with me..lol! Well I'm saying it loud and proud, I am officially on #Team @NBCTheVoice and as they say on twitter....now #followback @TheHollywoodRep ;-)

I personally enjoy the artists, the judges/coaches selection, in my opinion where perfect in Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine.  If you have seen season 1, there are so many tweaks that make it stand on it's own that I personally feel, this is a really nice move for what I will call "music reality". Real music, real artists and straight up 'get in the ring' competition! 

It is amazing how shows come and rock the music world and fans alike. Take one of the nations biggest shows for un-known talent that rise to super stardom overnight, American Idol. AI has been wowing America since 2002, bringing Idol watchers extraordinary talent like Season 8's Adam Lambert. Then how can we forget the gruesome worst of worst AI contestants. It never ceases to amaze AI's new and long time fans when the next big thing like just recent Season 10 winner Scotty McCreery captures Americas heart and sours into super stardom from on-land, on TV and online!

NOW THERE IS A NEW TREND IN TOWN! AS TWITTER FOLLOWERS WOULD SAY IT:

NBC's new singing competition show "The Voice" has once again captured America with the new CRAVE with new feel and new artists! It catapulted to new heights already with amazing and already memorable performances like Curtis Grimes (site) and Emily Valentine's already famous "THE KISS" and chart topping nods within the final 4 from Season 1 with Dia Framton, Beverly McClellan, Vicci Martinez, and now America has already spoken and changed the life of another singer from #TeamAdam and the SEASON 1 WINNER OF "THE VOICE" wednesday night Javier Colon !!!!

Not only is this show taking over the airwaves, runner up Dia Framton after singing her rendition of  Kanye West's "Heartless" dominated iTunes top 100 during the show and Javier Colon hit #1 on iTunes and took the crown as THE VOICE of Season 1! This all demonstrates that the show has just that...The Voice !!!!
